Primary and Secondary students showcase 60 projects at the annual Science Fair
From water filtration to solar-powered chargers, this year's fair was the biggest yet, with judges from two Kampala universities.
More than sixty projects filled the Main Hall for the annual Evergreen Science Fair, with entries from P4 through S6.
Judges from two Kampala universities awarded top honours to an S5 team that built a low-cost water filtration unit from locally available materials, and to a P6 group who measured how shade trees affect classroom temperatures.
The fair is the culmination of a term-long inquiry unit in which every class investigates a question of its own choosing. Next year's fair will open to visiting schools for the first time.
